[About combining with the new national study support system]
This scholarship is a grant-type scholarship system with no obligation to repay.
Ohara Shiraume Foundation Scholarship recipients cannot receive scholarships under the new national study support system (Japan Student Services Organization Scholarship + Tuition Fee Reduction/Exemption), but can only receive tuition fee reduction/exemption. Masu. (*If you wish to apply for the new national educational support system, you will need to apply separately. In addition, if you are a candidate for reservation at high school under the new national educational support system, you will receive a scholarship after being selected for this scholarship. A suspension procedure is required.)
This scholarship will provide a flat monthly payment of 50,000 yen, while the Japan Student Services Organization Scholarship will provide a monthly payment of 9,600 to 75,800 yen based on the support category and commuting type. (*Click here for details on the new national study support system)
