This is a program offered by Career Support Center to help students look at themselves and continue to hone themselves. The program is aimed at helping students deepen their understanding of themselves, gain a broader understanding of society and ways of thinking about careers, so that they can set their own goals for their careers after graduation, and to develop the "employability" commonly required in a wide range of occupations.
This is a regular curricular class offered to all faculties, and is the central program for career development support at our university.
In addition to acquiring knowledge through lectures, the aim is to acquire the basics of character development and human development, and to acquire the way of life, way of thinking, and behavior as members of society.
The theme is how to spend your student years thinking about your career path after graduation and realizing your dreams and goals. You will learn mainly about self-understanding, the meaning of work, changes in the social environment, and understanding of occupations.
Students will acquire basic knowledge of the current situation, systems, and rules surrounding them in order to understand what kind of reality they face in the "workplace."
In addition to learning the basics required of working adults, we invite practitioners who are active in the field as instructors to learn about the latest trends in each industry and company.
An internship is a program run by companies, ministries, and local governments that allows students to gain work experience related to their major and future career while enrolled in school.
In recent years, internships have become an opportunity to not only hear directly about industry trends and specific work content, but also to get a feel for the atmosphere and culture of the employees working there. With the aim of deepening mutual understanding between companies and students, the number of companies conducting internships and the number of participating students are increasing year by year. When applying and participating, be sure to carefully check the training content and choose the program that suits your goals.
This is a practical training program for second and third year students to experience working at a university partner for 5 days to 2 weeks during summer vacation. By experiencing a responsible position in the real world, students acquire a social and professional outlook and deepen their understanding of industries and companies. Before the internship, interns hone the necessary basic skills in a pre-training class, and after the internship, interns share their experiences at the internship site with each other in a post-training class, and at the end, a training debriefing session is held to give them a concrete understanding of their internship experience. This will lead to a sense of purpose and employment ability.
Students' performance will be evaluated and credits will be awarded based on their approach to class, training diary and report submission status, etc. *There will be an internal screening process for participation.
This internship is for students who are aiming to become civil servants. You can actually experience the "jobs of civil servants that you don't know about" who work hard every day for the people and local residents. Those who wish to participate should apply in advance to Career Support Center.
These internships are not sponsored by the university, but by individual companies and organizations, so you will need to gather information on your own.
In addition to searching on company and organization websites and various internship information sites, you can also view internship information sent to Career Support Center.
