Certificates that can be issued by automatic certificate issuing machines

If you need the following certificates, please use the RIS corner (certificate issuing machine). It is free of charge. A student ID is required for use.

You will not be able to use the RIS Corner after graduation/completion.

What to apply at the counter

For the various applications listed below, please purchase a certificate stamp from the on-campus certificate stamp vending machine, attach it to the application form, and apply at the relevant counter.

Regarding various certificate issuance procedures

If you need various certificates after graduation, you can apply at the counter or by mail. Please keep the following points in mind when applying.

  1. Applications by phone, fax, or email are not accepted.
  2. In principle, certificates will be issued the next day, both at the counter and by mail.
  3. Depending on the type of certificate, it may take several days to issue it, so please apply well in advance.
  4. The certificate will be issued under the name you used when you were enrolled in school.
  5. Please be sure to pay the issuance fee and return stamps at the time of application. If we are unable to verify your identity (bring your ID for in-person applications, or enclose a copy of your ID for mail-in applications), or if there is an incomplete fee, we will suspend or cancel the issuance.
  6. The information you fill in on the application form will be registered as alumni information for the Rissho University Alumni Association. Personal information will be managed in accordance with Rissho University regulations regarding the protection of personal information.

If you have any questions, please contact the Academic Affairs Division of your home campus or the office of your home faculty/graduate school.

*Due to the relocation of Faculty of Law Bushinagawa Campus, please apply for certificates for Faculty of Law graduates at the Shinagawa Campus, regardless of the campus you attended.

*1 One copy will be issued for each school type and subject.
*2 For certificates for those who graduated from childcare vocational schools or junior colleges, the academic affairs department of the campus they graduated from will be the contact point.
*3 We are unable to issue a certificate regarding qualification for appointment as a child welfare officer because our university is unable to provide proof of practical experience, which is a requirement for qualification.

Issuance fee

Japanese certificate: 200 yen/1 copy
English certificate: 500 yen/1 copy
*If you would like the completed certificate to be mailed to you, an additional shipping fee will be charged.

How to apply by mail

Please enclose the following four items (I) to (IV) and mail them to the address below.

(I) Application form

Please download the entry form below, print it, and fill in the necessary information. If you do not have a printing environment, please refer to "If you do not use the designated forms of our university" below.

If you do not use the designated forms of this university

Please fill out the following required information on stationery, etc.

  1. Student ID number (only if confirmed)
  2. Name and furigana (name at the time of enrollment)
    *If you are applying for an English certificate, please also enter your name in Roman letters.
  3. Date of birth/gender
  4. Shipping address (including postal code)
    *If your name is different from when you were enrolled in school, please also write your address.
  5. telephone number
  6. Graduation faculty/department/course (day/night)
  7. Date of admission/transfer admission
  8. Graduation/withdrawal date
  9. Specify the name of the certificate, the required number of certificates, and the language of issue (Japanese/English)
    Example: Transcript, 1 copy, Japanese
    *For certificates related to academic ability, specify the school type and subject name.
  10. Purpose of certificate use
  11. Issuance fee payment method (stamp or fixed amount money order)
  12. Mailing method (ordinary mail, express delivery, Letter Pack Light, Letter Pack Plus)
  13. In case of proxy application: Name, address, telephone number, relationship with the person

(II) Copy of identification card, etc.

Copy of health insurance card/driver's license/passport, etc.
*If a family member or other representative is applying, identification documents and a power of attorney are required for the applicant and the representative.
*The format of the power of attorney is optional. However, it must be filled out in the applicant's own handwriting and must be affixed with a seal.
(Example) I, ``applicant name,'' entrust the application for the certificate to ``proxy name.'' date, signature, seal

*If you would like express delivery, please specify that you wish for express delivery and enclose stamps for the additional 260 yen above the shipping fee.
*Please be sure to include shipping charges when applying. If the shipping fee is insufficient, we will charge you separately.
*Our university is unable to handle mailing overseas as problems may occur due to the postal situation in each country.
Please be sure to specify a domestic family member, etc. as the mailing address.
*A return envelope is not required, but if you enclose the designated envelope, please note the following points.
・Up to 10 standard size envelopes (Length 3: 23.5cm x 12cm)
・Please write the destination address and name on the envelope, and affix a stamp for the shipping fee.

If you would like to return the item by Letter Pack (with tracking record)

You can check the certificate delivery status using the tracking service. If you would like to receive a letter pack, please specify the type of letter pack and enclose stamps for the shipping fee.

Delivery will be made in person. A stamp or signature is required upon receipt.

If you wish to use the tracking service, please contact our university's handling desk. We will check the delivery status and respond.

Number of days required for issuance

As a general rule, we will issue and return the application documents the next day after we receive them, so please allow plenty of time to apply.

*Documents related to personal information sent to us will be managed and disposed of responsibly by our university.
