We hope that the Lotus Gallery will connect our university with all those who are interested in our school and become a place to create new communication.

Understanding the present and future of Rissho University

Gallery A, the entrance to the Lotus Gallery, presents the present and future of Rissho University.
Discover a new side of Rissho University through topics about the university, the founding spirit, and the students.

Gallery B
Understanding the history of Rissho University

In Gallery B, we trace the history of Rissho University through a timeline and historical documents. Experience the history of Rissho University from its origins to the present and on to the future. In the timeline space, a replica of the Nichiren Shoshu University Auditorium and a replica of President Ishibashi Tanzan President's Office are exhibited alongside the timeline. Other historical documents related to the university are displayed in the historical document display case. It is an exhibition space that tells the story of the university's history.

The adjacent Lotus Hall is a 282-seat multipurpose hall that can host lectures and concerts.

Special Exhibition Room: Understanding Rissho University 's "Legacy"

Rissho University, which is celebrating its 150th anniversary, has collected and accumulated a wide variety of historical materials relating to Buddhism, archaeology, and history.
In the special exhibition room, we will have a permanent exhibition of our unique materials, as well as special exhibitions to publicize the results of our daily research. We also plan to hold exhibition commentaries and lectures.

54th Special Exhibition "Engraving Knowledge: The History of Printing and the Form of Books"

*The office will be closed on Thursday, March 19th due to the graduation ceremony and Friday, March 20th due to a national holiday.
*The library will be closed on Mondays, Saturdays, and Sundays until March 31st (Tuesday). From April 1st (Wednesday), the library will be open on Mondays and Saturdays.
