Licenses and qualifications that can be obtained at our university
We will introduce various qualification courses including teaching license.
Please note that the qualifications that can be obtained vary depending on the faculty/department.
To obtain this qualification, you must complete each course and graduate from our university.
teaching license
Teacher training course
Teaching licenses are broadly divided into Type 1 licenses, Type 2 licenses, specialized licenses, and special licenses, but the licenses that can be obtained at our university are Type 1 licenses that undergraduate students can obtain upon graduation from university, and specialized licenses that graduate students can obtain upon completing a master's course at graduate school.
The types of licenses are further divided by school type and subject, and the licenses that can be obtained are determined by the faculty/department or graduate school/major to which you are enrolled, as shown in the table below.
For the primary education curriculum (kindergartens and elementary schools), only students in the Department of Child Education and Welfare can obtain a Type 1 license, and only students majoring in Education and Welfare can obtain a Specialized License.
