Notes

  1. Matters that will disqualify a scholar
    • When the applicant declines the scholarship
    • In the event of a leave of absence, expulsion, expulsion from the register, or death

    • When a student receives disciplinary action or engages in behavior that is deemed inappropriate for a scholarship student.

Rissho Uninersity Graduate School Tachibana Financial Support Scholarship

The amount of the benefit has been increased from the fiscal year Reiwa 6.
The benefit period has been extended from Reiwa 7 grant.

Effect

The purpose of this program is to provide equal educational opportunities to students who are facing financial difficulties in continuing their studies or continuing their research after enrolling in a university by providing financial support through tuition exemptions (there is no obligation to repay the funds after graduation).

You can apply if you meet any of the following conditions:

  1. Applicants must be students who wish to enroll in each graduate school Reiwa 8 (scheduled to enroll Reiwa 8). However, international students are excluded.
  2. Applicants must be enrolled in a Reiwa 8 within the shortest period of study. However, international students are excluded.

Long-term students must be within their own long-term study period.

International students (with a "Student" visa status) can apply for the "Tuition Reduction for Privately Financed International Students" program at Center for International Exchange.

Grant period

In principle, the shortest period of study is required (Master's degree: 2 years including the year of acceptance, Doctoral degree: 3 years including the year of acceptance. If you complete the course within the period, the grant will end.)

Paid once a year (around early May each year)

Long-term students can reapply after the above period has passed.

There is a "continuation review (academics, household finances, etc.)" every academic year.

If you take a leave of absence during the continuation period, you will lose your right to continuation for that period.

"Full or half of the annual tuition fee" and "Partial tuition fee subsidy (up to 100,000 yen)"

In the continuing academic year, the same annual tuition assistance amount (full or half amount) as the previous academic year will be provided, however, the amount of partial tuition assistance may change.

Rissho University Alumni Association Graduate School Research Grant

Effect

The purpose of this program is to support graduate students at our university in their growth as researchers and to revitalize research activities at the graduate school.

Implementation period

About eligibility and application

  1. graduate student
  2. Those who fall under any of the following items 1), 2), and 3).
    1. The paper has been published in a reputable peer-reviewed journal or a journal that is deemed to be of equivalent or higher quality.
    2. A work (including co-authored works) published by an academic publisher.
    3. Students may apply as many times as they like during their enrollment in the program. However, multiple applications for the same topic will not be accepted.
  3. As a general rule, applications are limited to one person per paper.
  4. The academic journal in which the paper was published, or the publication or presentation date of the book or presented paper, must be between March 1st and February 29th of the relevant year.
