Rissho Educational Corporation will celebrate its 150th anniversary in 2022. It was originally founded in 1872 as a small religious institute of the Nichiren sect. Its origins can be traced back further to Iitaka Danrin, which was opened in 1580 as an academic research and educational institution of the Nichiren sect. With such a history, our school, as part of Rissho Educational Corporation Gakuen, has a rich educational environment with its Shinagawa and Kumagaya campuses, as well as Rissho University Junior and Senior High School.
