5Faculties学部Faculty of Buddhist StudiesThe Faculty of Buddhist Studies embodies the spirit that Rissho University was founded upon, and its goal is to cultivate students capable of contributing to society, following the benevolence of the Bodhisattva. Designed to help students acquire wisdom and attain greater self-realization, the Faculty's unique curriculum allows students to explore the multifaceted aspects of humanity, society, history, philosophy, culture and the arts from the perspective of Buddhism.Faculty of LettersThe Faculty of Letters seeks to consider the wide range of human experience, the fundamental thread that links all departments in this faculty. Students examine humanity from a broad perspective through ideas and history, language and literature, and social and cultural phenomena.Faculty of EconomicsThe curriculum offered by the Faculty of Economics gives students the opportunity to master basic theory through a well-balanced selection of subjects that help them to better understand complex economic behaviors from various perspectives. The Faculty's goals are to cultivate in students a firm grasp of the wide-ranging issues encountered in contemporary economics and to nurture their capability in developing unique and effective economic solutions.Faculty of Business AdministrationWith a curriculum that balances theoretical and practical programs, the Faculty of Business Administration focuses on cultivating diverse problem-solving skills as well as advanced, specialized knowledge and techniques to enable students to play an active role in a constantly changing business environment.Faculty of LawThe Faculty of Law focuses on cultivating advanced knowledge through a study of the overall structure and framework of the legal system to help students understand how laws should function in society. The curriculum is designed to develop the ability to effectively navigate society with specialized legal knowledge and qualications that enable students to identify and solve a wide range of social issues.
