
Three-week Japanese Training Program Winter 2012
Rissho University Japanese Training Program is a three- week program which enables students to
take subjects in English relating to Japanese, Japanese Affairs and Japanese Culture while at the
same time experiencing various Japanese cultural activities.
This course is especially designed for native English speakers.

1. Qualifications for Applicants
Overseas students recommended by the head of their University or Institution.
2. Admission Capacity
10 students
3. Period of Training
Nov. 23 - Dec. 15, 2012 (3 weeks)
4. Application Documents

One photograph attached)
② Letter of Recommendation issued by the head of University or Institution
(One or more applicants can be listed on a single Letter of Recommendation)
③ Photocopy of Passport
④ Two passport style photographs (3 cm by 4 cm)
⑤ JTB Homestay Japan Application Form
5. Subjects
・ Japanese and Japanese Current Affairs Ⅱ
(Credits will be given to students who earn excellent grades. Students need to have at least N3 level of
Japanese-Language Proficiency Test.)
6. Grade Evaluation
Participants will be issued a Grade Certificate listing subject names, grades and credits.
7. Participation Fee
138,000 YEN
1. Included in the Participation Fee :
・Tuition (Japanese, Japanese Current AffairsⅡ)
・Homestay fee (Nov.24-Dec.15; including two meals per day)
・Coach fare from Narita Airport to hotel (One-way)
・Japanese Language text book fee (1 text book)
・Activity fee (one day trip to Hakone)
2. Not included in the Participation Fee
・Optional subject fees (Japanese Culture Experience : Tea Ceremony/Flower Arrangment/Wearing a
Kimono)
・Air fare to and from Japan
・Public transportation fee from homestay to Rissho University Osaki Campus
・Fare to Narita Airport
・Food expenses except meals of homestay (please use the cafeteria on campus or restaurants /shops in the
city)
・Toiletry (please bring your own towel, shampoo, soap and toothbrush)
8. Overseas Travel Insurance
Please be sure to obtain appropriate overseas travel insurance to cover any illness or injury which might be incurred during your stay in Japan.
9. Accommodation
・This program offers you the opportunity to stay in a typical Japanese home and learn firsthand about
Japanese culture and everyday customs through interaction with a host family.
・Hotel accommodation will be arranged for the first day.
